For the past ten years, the Fort Meade Alliance (FMA) has been dedicated to promoting the Fort George G. Meade military base as a growing regional economic asset. In carrying out this mission, FMA hosts frequent seminars, targeted advocacy, and business networking programs, and emphasizes educational and workforce development opportunities for local students in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). With over 175 member organizations and partners, and a principal goal to attract more, FMA’s website redesign needed to focus on publicizing its event offerings and streamlining the membership registration and renewal processes. A visually striking and easy to navigate site were paramount in reflecting and executing FMA’s motto to “Get connected, get involved, make a difference.”

Partnering with Drio for the website layout and information architecture, from the outset Bmore Creative, Inc. collaborated with their talented designers to highlight and emphasize FMA’s compelling calls to action (CTAs), driving potential new members, current partners, and event participants to the array of resources offered by FMA.
Bmore Creative effectively worked within the boundaries of the website requirements, such as the use of specific event registration and membership renewal services with which site administrators were already familiar. Delivering on these requirements, Bmore Creative successfully customized these services to refine the workflow and style the interactions, providing a seamless match with the site’s new design.
Bmore Creative also completed the build of the Fort Meade Alliance Foundation website. The Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, manages charitable initiatives designed to support the work of FMA. The Foundation’s new website emphasizes these charitable efforts and includes an online donation form.
